I'm a 16 year old guy, 5'8, and I weigh about 137 lbs. I'm gonna start hitting the gym and hit the iron hard af to get to my goals of 155 lbs. and getting my strength up. Are there any workouts that you would suggest that build muscle and strength? If you can give me advice on building muscle and strength in general as well, I would appreciate that as well. :)

Does your gym have these workout machines or do you have to make it your way with weights and just laying on the ground?

It has free weights and machines. I should be able to do most exercises within that gym. :P

Yes, I do like to use free weights over machines.

Well, I'd take machines myself, what I do is the following (repetitions x series)

Laterals (15x3)
Pectorals (15x3)
Deltoids (15x3) (this is death lol)
Biceps (20x3)
Triceps (20x3)
Abs (30-40x3)
Then legs I don't work them out as I cycle everyday.

You're the same weight as me and just a couple inches shorter so this should work just fine for you

Weight should be chosen so that you're struggling to reach the last rep, but not so that you're in the 10th and already dying. Take into account the 1st series will be way easier than the third one. You should rest minimum 30secs, max 1min between them.

If you want to see each machine to see your equivalent, want the leg workout, or have any other question, PM me :)
