The Perfect Match

My friend is friends with this girl who's friend is the "perfect match for me." Yesterday, we went looking for them to talk, and when we see her with all of her friends, he throws me in the middle of all of them, and I froze. Luckily, he was there to start up a conversation, but I still couldn't say anything. Today, I have class with said girl. She sits a few rows back, so I'm contemplating whether I should say anything or not. And I have no idea what I should say if I were to do something.

Well...Are you even interested in her? The way you're making it out sounds like everyone else is kinda forcing you to be in a relationship with her because you two appear to be a good couple together. If you are interested though, the way to strike up a conversation is to firstly, gain the courage and secondly, have a couple of questions at the back of your head that you could ask her. If you start with little things, birthday, favourite colour, favourite tv show, you can get a great conversation starting, and if it works out, you can invite her to sit with you or hang out or give her your number, it depends.
