I have always slept with a shirt on but now I have decided to try sleeping without wearing a shirt. However, I don't know how to get my family members to accept this as it may be a bit awkward. Therefore, I need advice on how to 'try out something different'. I was also wondering how comfortable it is to sleep without a shirt on as opposed to wearing a shirt.

the best way to try it is to just do it one night. I am a bit confused as to why you owuld need your family members acceptance of what makes you comfortable to sleep in, do you need their approval? And its very comfortable to sleep with no shirt on because theres nothing there to bunch up or get tangled in.

I totally agree with Zack. I have slept nude for most of my life and cannot imagine wearing a shirt to sleep in. Go for it man.

When I first turned 12 I just started sleeping without a shirt one day and my parents were fine.

My dad made me sleep in pjs but I also had problems with wetting so it just made for more stuff to wash, so now my foster family were the ones who said maybe it would be easier to sleep in your pants (underwear for the USA people) . And if I have an accident I sleep naked afterwars which like a year ago would have felt wierd but now its kind of nice actually. So I say wear what is comfortable and its really your business.

I don't sleep without a shirt but my brother does and nothing ever gets said. If I were you I'd just sleep shirtless and whenever you go downstairs just put it back on so that if you're nervous your family won't see.

have they told you that you can't sleep without a shirt? how does your dad sleep? i think if there are no rules in your home that you have to sleep in a shirt, wear what makes you comfortable.
