I think its a personal preference, and your friend's situation probably has more to do with who he is as a person as opposed to his religion. Chances are his sex drive did not kick in, yet, which is why he probably does not masturbate.

I believe Muslims as a group are circumcised due to religious reasons.

Let's see ...... the fact the he told you that he doesn't masturbate doesn't mean it's true. There is a lot of non-Muslim people (mostly Women) who denies masturbating when the reality is that all they do or did at a certain point.

Well sometimes people do not always want to discuss their private sexual (or whatever you would categorise masturbation as) lives in public. Some people are more reclusive with information. He could be telling the truth, he could be lying. At the end of the day, it is none of your business. There's almost certainly Muslims that would partake in masturbation, just like there are Christians and atheists who do the same thing. The circumcision thing could be religious or not, I only knew of Jewish people doing that but it is possible.

From a quick read of Islam and masturbation on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_masturbation) it seems Muslims are in the same situation as Christians in that some believe their religion forbids it and some believe it is permissible. Of those who believe their religion forbids it some may do it anyway, but may be reluctant to admit as much to someone else.

AFAIK circumcision is a religious ritual for Muslims as it is for Jews.

idk ... I wonder why often this depends on a religion. eg for Christians, it is actually not even allowed to masterbate. And look at the Christians. Seems they or some of'em are still enthusiastic wankers.

And if you only ask google, you'll see that Muslims don't less masturbate than the rest of us. also there are tons of forums where Muslims exchange information about masturbating, eg they discuss break masterbating the fast, is it haraam in any case or such. Seems to be a big topic anyway.

Also, there are some people who masturbating less than other. So, this may simply an individual thing with him.

Religion and sexuality are often at odds, even to the point where it can hurt someone's wellbeing. I suppose if you're barely exposed to sexual stimuli, it can be easy to skip masturbating. Then again, not all religious people follow the rules. It's common for them to break them. Not saying this guy does though.

circumcision is part of islam to stay clean or for medical not forced but unless you can garentee no dirt or pee under the skin good luck with that impossible because you must be clean to pray so needed and masturbation yes some never do as It's not allowed only the reverts or some have or did but try or stop completely is required or get a wife

Jewish people aren't the only one who practice the barbaric ritual of circumcision Muslim and some Christian do it too the reason the reason they do it is because they use to think that if your cut it makes it more difficult to jerk off.
