Is it normal for the area between your balls and ass (perineum) to be itchy and hairy? Mine is really itchy always.

First, practice good hygiene and use some spray on powder to control "jock itch". It is important to be clean and dry to avoid the itching.

Also, once you take off under ware never, ever, put them back on. Even more important if you wear briefs. If you play sports always wear a clean jock strap. Never store damp clothes in your locker/sports bag. Wash them after every use. Clean under ware is a given to avoid "the itch".

It is totally normal to have hair down there.

I agree with the person above that a lot of your problems might have to do with hygiene. Make sure you are washing down there thoroughly everyday, and you might need to use some baby powder or talcum powder to reduce itching. Even using anti-itch cream like a cortisone cream might do the job. Just make sure you are keeping the area clean because if you're not doing that, then that is where you will have problems.

I've no hair in that area, also it hasn't ever itched there. But I guess if you've hair there, maybe more than average, then it is just more normal that it itches.

No hairs there yet, but it doesn't really itch either. Maybe what other people said wash good and some kind of powder would help.
