New Phone?

Hi, so I currently have a low-end android phone (it cost £120). Over the past few months its been starting to freeze, not respond and overheat a lot. I want to get an iPhone 6 because I think they look good and one of my friends has one and I've really liked it when I've used hers. I have the money myself because I have a part time job but how can I persuade my mum to let me get a new phone because I got this one last Christmas and she wants to send it in for repair but the phones rubbish anyway haha

Yes I like androids I think I'll be getting the s6+ they are somehow better more if you can root it although thus will not come with an expandable memory

For lower end android, I recommend Nexus 5 (2015) model which will be coming out soon.

But keep an external battery pack around (I recommend Anker external battery) to keep the phone's power supply up.


Go no lower than Nexus 5, otherwise you will have a subpar phone in my humble opinion.

Team iPhone for the win, I prefer them as a whole, and the features and things available with them.

If you're aiming for price-for-quality, Android would be the way to go. Ideally Nexus or Oneplus if you can get your hands on one. Motorola used to be awesome, but with Lenovo purchase I fear it might not be the best thing out there. I've also heard good stuff about Zenfone 2 and Redmi Note 2.
If you've got the money and don't plan to customize (e.g. root, unlocking bootloader and/or installing custom ROMs), iPhone would probably be the better choice.

I recently switched from Samsung Galaxy S4 to iPhone 6. So far I have absolutely loved everything about it!

You should maybe persuade her to get iPhone 6/6S for your birthday/christmas present?
