No, I do not drink anymore. 13 days sober and I plan to keep it longer.

Most don't understand the potential damage it can do until it affects them.

So many are like
"Oh I have self-control, I won't get drunk. I'm aware of how often people say they have self-control but don't, but I am different. I'm even aware of all that say their different but wasn't, but I really am different. Trust me".

Everytime someone drink, they are risking hurting themselves or others.

It could be argued that even when walking outside, you can risk getting hit by a car and the driver panics and crash into another car.

It's not a fair comparison. Almost anything can go wrong, but drinking has a higher chance than walking outside and we have to consider WHY we have to take that risk.

Walking is essential to keep your body functioning and to do things.
While drinking has no benefits. It's just a bad solution to stuff.
Like "Uhh drinking makes me more outgoing, it shows my good sides".
Your good sides has always been there mate, you can do fine without alcohol.

It's unfortunate that one of the most dangerous drugs is the most popular one and that the majority are too dumb to realize it.

It's also disrespecting to yourself as a human. Alcohol makes you dumb, really dumb. It's like if you met a witch and she gave you a potion that transforms you into a goldfish with no personality, that's what alcohol is.

Basically by drinking alcohol, your implying that you don't value your personality and intelligente and rather reduce yourself to a goldfish.

Seth I really respect that you don't drink.

Oh boy, here come the preachers.

I love wine. Vodka is not for me(yet)

You will develop immunity for alcohol. Before, like three to four beers and I was wasted. Now... I need half a litre of some really low quality vodka. I don't drink anymore. I will not preach how alcohol is bad for you, you be the judge of that. For me personally it did more harm than good.

I don't. My boyfriend and his friends go out and drink and I want to be the cool exciting boyfriend that drinks and parties with them, but deep down it gives me anxiety.

I like wine with dinner. Beet with pizza. Jack neat. On rare occasion I enjoy a Cognac. I do not binge drink, nor do I drink to excess, my family taught my brother and me to be responsible with alcohol.

I am a social drinker. I enjoy he taste of certain spirits and cocktails. I hate beer and I hate that people just drink to get drunk. Not to judge people, but it seems really sad that people need a substance like alcohol to solve their problems.

Yea, but definitely in moderation. Probably one or two glasses of wine or beer every few weeks or during the festive seasons like Christmas, but otherwise I'd stay away from it most of the time, considering the effects of alcohol on my liver.

I just turned 15 so its not something I have any interest in yet. But both my parents drink so I probably will to at some point.

Nope. I've tried it but I can't stand the taste or the feeling. My parents are alcoholics too so I'm trying to avoid turning out like them.

Very rarely. I had one yesterday and may have another tonight but I'm celebrating in California. I don't advise it though.

My dad has been the cool dad so when he does have beer in the house he gives me one and my brother. I think it is ok just not a fan of the taste.

I don't think I've seen any Australian since I've moved here not drink. But I only hang with bogans so maybe I'm biased :P

I try to only drink socially but I'm also void of self-control so it is more of a every 3 days thing. I don't have a fond taste of beers or ciders but I do enjoy wine/vodka/whisky. Usually mixed, I only do shots at gatherings since I'm a little bitch about it.

I drink occasionally, but only about a shot of bourbon per day at most, as I cannot afford to get drunk as a high schooler.
