Posting in diary

I recently started a diary thread, and I noticed that what I post there and replies do not show up under the new posts
Is this a setting issue or something?

If you post anything, it will not show for you in the new posts. Only to those who haven't viewed the thread, or newer posts within. Once someone replies, you'll then see it in the new posts section. You can however go to Quick Links and view "Today's posts" to check
