Right, I've started learning HTML (again), I used to dabble in it on the side, but have utterly neglected my use of it and hence learning about it, plus now that I need it for my computing course (^-^) I need to get some serious learning time in with HTML.
Sooooooo, does anyone know a good place (free, obviously, since I'm working on a student's budget) where I can learn a little more in about HTML.
Thus far I've only really got to grasps with basic web design, titles and fonts and pictures and such, enough to make a 90's style site but not much more.

I was going to share that one too. This (http://boomeyer.tumblr.com/post/64245504803/do-yourself-a-favor-learn-to-code-heres-how) post also has a lot of helpful links - not all of them are focused on HTML, but just to cover your bases.

Yeah, codeacedemy is good. I used it to learn a little HTML a while back -- I'm rubbish when it comes to coding but that helped me learn enough to get by with what I needed to know.

I always use http://www.w3schools.com/ when I need to look up a feature.
I also have the (dated) book from Elizabeth Castro,
HTML for the World Wide Web, Fifth Edition with XHTML and CSS: Visual QuickStart Guide. I always found it to be a decent read.

My school has a deal with ieclass so I guess that's not useful for your case. But we occasionally watch KahnAcademy videos before starting a new concept. But you may beyond this. However, they are pretty interactive so you should check them out.

SoloLearn (I can't link to it, but it's the first result on Google) makes apps for HTML, Java, and a lot of other things. It seems to be available on all smart phones, and apparently they do it online now too.
