My dad was in the marines... we had a falling out but r starting to talk again and im thinking about joining up. of course im in 9th grade and its a ways off, i just feel a call to the marines... ik u have to be in peak physical condition and all... idk just babbling

I am sure you will make the decision that is best for you. If you end up joining, that's great :) If you decide to pursue something else, then it probably wasn't meant to be. Either way I'm sure it will work out, and good luck!

This might be more psychological that you are trying to show how good of a kid you are, by being what you father is/was. But in your father's eyes I am sure you will be the best regardless of what you do.

If you fell that Marines is your future, then go for it. But don't let your feelings of what others think of if others will love you for you decision, lead you.
