I've done it before swim meets and it never affected me negatively. I think it depends on the person. In some cases it helped me focus because my mind wasn't on my hormones.

I usually wait for sex afterwards. not that I am worried it will tire me out or anything. some say by not masturbating before it is better because it will give you more testosterone but I have masturbated (and have had sex) before games and I plaid just as good regardless

I read a buzzfeed article (first mistake) that claimed having sex right before work reduces stress. It doesn't really... As for sports, I don't think it would have any negative effects and not many positive ones.

I would do neither because especially if i fap before playing a sport my hands/legs will get tired and hurt easily

You do lose testosterone when you masturbate or have sex,but it depends on the person if it leaves you tired.I don't think it would make much of a difference.Maybe letting you focus more on the game or practice than your hormones.
