I don't feel I can, maybe I need to get leaner or more confident. Look at these two examples...

I've worn V-Necks before, but don't have too many of them now and don't really have the urge or desire to buy more. I don't have anything against them but at the moment I'm not really into them all that much.

I am comfortable wearing T shirts as outer wear so guess I could do V neck. However, just not my style.

I guess I could. I have one or two v necks I think at the moment but I have a greater preference for wearing polos and shirts.

I don't think it's about confidence unfortunately, some styles just suit people better than others. V-necks suit me better than crew neck shirts, you just have to find what you're comfortable in.

I used to wear V-Necks when I was younger but they aren't really my thing anymore. In general I only wear normal style t-shirts and shirts with collars.

If it's not a deep v like the second image, but something reasonable like the first, I'll wear it. I prefer wearing them, they're not bad on me, but ultimately I get the shirt because of what's on it; collars are just a preference. It's nice to hang my glasses with one

to be serious 2 seconds what the hell? "can you" "pull-off" so it means if i want to wear some type of clothes its forbidden for me because i "cant pull-off?" means it doesnt "show my incredibly hot and muscular physique and thats the only way you can wear that!"
talk about some BS bodyshaming from people that invented those kind of clothes, or the people that think you shouldnt wear them if you dont have a certain type of body... I though we could wear whatever we wante but looks like you can only if you're "hawt"
as a fat guy i cant buy anything fashionable because nothing "fahionable" is in my size... but thats normal, right?

I have nice collarbone, so V necks are no problem.
