I was wondering if anyone is/was doing accelerated subjects at school and I was wondering how you guys were coping with it, if it's pretty easy or difficult for you or if you had to repeat the subject again in your last year because you weren't happy with your score, etc.
When I say accelerated, I don't mean streamed classes, but more so, being (example) in year 10 and doing year 11 physics in a year 11 class (so you'll finish physics a year earlier than the year 10's.)
I'm doing Year 12 Food Science and Technology and Year 12 Maths right now (I'm in year 11) and I don't feel like I'm trying as hard as I should, considering end of year exams for us is real soon...

Im taking advance classes and its a bit stressful for me, but i seem to be able to keep up with the workload and i make pretty good grades. sometimes i get really bad headaches from the stress, but i dont let it stop me.

I did AP classes when in high school. It was a lot of work but well worth the effort. I am glad I made that choice. Hang in there and do your best. Good luck with exams.

Yeah, I've done accelerated classes for a few years now, it never felt like overwhelming work for me, and by the time I'm done with this year, I'll have enough credits to start my second semester of college immediately.

Yeah, I'm on an advanced learning track at my school. I haven't had any problems yet.

I did all APs during high school, all while doing extracurriculars and having a social life. I didn't sleep often, but my grades were spectacular.
Now in college, i'm in accelerated courses again. I'm taking an Honors research class in Chemistry (and I'm only a sophomore!). I do experiments, research and write papers. I have one 15 page paper due every 2 weeks where I have to include graphs that can describe the information i've found. On top of that, i'm taking 17 other credits (for a grand total of 21) this semester, all while I'm doing Full time at my job. It can get stresssful and I go many days with little sleep, but what's done has gotta be done. Do your work as early as possible (ex: For my GenChem 2 class, I have questions due on 9/12, but I'm starting them now so I can be ahead). Its all about time management and dedication.

I've been doing ap classes all along. I don't get too much stress over them but at the first sign of confusion I'm not shy about asking for help from anybody. Falling just a little bit behind would cause huge stress for me.

I am a freshman and am doing pre-AP classes in most of my classes. Seems like we are getting a lot of busy work and the teachers are piling it on . Does it get easier? Are they just trying to scare us and weed us out?

When I enroll back to public (school hasn't called back to let me know how to enroll) I plan on taking A.P English and A.P Gov/Economics. I'm really good at both subjects.

Math and English AP for me. English is fine, but Math is more of a challenge.

I also have accelerated subjects at school but my tutors have been a great support in helping me cope up with the workload.

Yes, and it helps tons, after being behind, losing my parents, and wanting to stop education, I am graduating as a junior with a core40.
