Czech Republic Offers Serbia Technical, Financial Aid For Refugees

At a joint press conference with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, held at the Serbian government building, Sobotka commended Serbia for the results it achieved this year in terms of the chapter opening, and stressed that the Czech Republic supports Serbia’s EU aspirations.

I would like to clearly express my support for Serbia opening the first negotiation chapters as early as this year, and I strongly believe that the country has deserved this, Sobotka underlined, noting that the Czech Republic has offered technical and expert assistance to Serbia on its EU path.

He added that he and the Serbian prime minister also addressed the topic of migrants passing through Serbia, and that the Czech government has offered technical and financial aid to help Serbia resolve this problem.

This migrant crisis thing is so truly abhorrent and repulsive that I even change channel on the TV when the subject comes up on the news. Honestly, I don't know if we've always had this migrant flux or if it's just a bit more noticeable now because of all the deaths and drama about the refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, but either way, this simply can't keep going. What probably angers me the most is the passive attitude these idiot leaders of ours have towards this problem. We saw last week how Hungary is dealing with the issue and how they are trying to solve the problem in their own by building a wall along the border with Serbia and how some French minister or secretary or whatever criticised the Hungarian government for it. We saw the far-right riots in Dresden, we saw how some Greek humanitarian organisations are helping the refugees instead of helping the thousands of Greek people living below the poverty line, yet we still let this happen like everything's fine, like Europe is some kind of paradise with arms wide open for every lowlife that wishes to live here. Disgusting and revolting.

Not to mention Italy helping every ship at sea. I heard and believe that most migrants punch a hole in their boat in Italian waters, which means that the Italian navy has to bring them to Italy. Also the migrants here are the rich wave, we are going to be screwed and royally fucked when the poor (and usually more primitive) wave comes through. I support our southern neighbor, Macedonia on deciding to put riot police on the border with Greece to prevent migrants from entering. By shielding themselves, they shelde everyone else up north on the Balkan route. A lot of people here are for helping them, even though we cannot help ourselves

there's headlines about a 3 year old Syrian boy who drowned off the Turkish coast along with a couple of family members while attempting to defect in a boat. of course the West is literally worse than Hitler for turning them away, with no acknowledgement that defecting in a rickety boat is a huge risk that the refugees are taking, some might say "foolish." sucks that the kid died, but it's not a valid reason to throw your borders open.
