Finding Out If She's Interested?

How do you tell, or find out, if another person is into women? Without just asking.

In the past, with other women I've either dated or been into, I either knew cause they were very vocally out or I had a friend that knew.

There's a new girl to my school in a few of my classes and I think there may be something there. But I don't want to cross the line if she's straight. I'm friends with her online but it's all really vague, like she could be in the closet or just not into advertising.

What clues do you use? What tricks do you have?

There are no straightforward "clues" or "tricks" to figuring out someone's sexuality. Unless you explicitly ask her or see her hooking up with another girl, there is no way to tell if she's a lesbian. Maybe talk to a few of her friends and see if they'd be willing to let you know anything.
