Short Hair?

Hi everyone! So I have curly hair that goes a bit past my ears on the sides and a couple inches longer on the back, and I was thinking about making it short. Does anyone have any ideas for something a bit more classic (not too funky) cause I haven't been finding much... Thanks!

A lot of people have been shaving the sides and back and keeping it longer on the top.

I agree with abhorrence. Try cutting the sides. Even if you don't want to shave the sides, cut it behind the ears. Leave the top longer maybe an inch or inch and a half. There's only so much you can do with curly hair.

Maybe I misunderstood your explaination about your hair. But to me it sounds like your haircut is something like the Sherlock haircut. And thats nice. But if youre tired of it you should change it.
What about ditching the curls and bring it all backwards sort of like Leonardo di Caprio in Inception?

I have curly have too and its a pain with short hair. I did what Jack suggested and got short back and sides so that they cut the curl out and then longer on top (4 inches?) to wear forwards and I blow dry or straighten the top part. It's not too much effort but yeah you're nearly always going to have to maintain curls.

Yes that's about right a little bit longer though :). I actually like that suggestion, maybe I'll try it!

I just grow mine out equally. I really don't like the shorter hair on the sides trend, honestly.

I had straight pretty longish hair until 6m ago...It suited my small triangular face...After puberty I put on some and my face got filled out...My mom got me to have a short crop to suit my changing features...It made me look a bit chubby but my mom & GF both say its cute...

Shorter styles are good for curly hair...I used to have longish straight hair and had it cropped short when my skinny face got rounded a bit...GF & mom says its cute...but I think it looks ugly.....cos it few......growing up longish hair on a guy is not an option too...I'd rather shave it off as I get filled out more and get a bit chubby (college is coming.!!!)......Also I'd likely lose it cos my dad lost his hair by 30...already its not growing very fast.
