I'm 13 and I have quite a bit of hair down stairs and, I was just wondering what I should do? Should I shave it, trim it, or leave it? Btw: I am straight!

First I Would like to say that sexuality has zero connections with shaving your pubes. I leave it natural because it can protect against STDs better than cut, so I recommend trimming or natural

I'll try trimming it a little.

I shave, and the increase of STDs from shaving is very minimal i wouldnt worry :

I leave mine natural, but do whatever makes you happy. It is normal to shave it and it is normal to leave it

I agree with fandom_king your sexuality has nothing to do with what you should do with your pubes.

I mostly shave mine, sometimes I let them grow a little and keep them trimmed. Depends how lazy I'm feeling :D

The others are right, and sexuality has nothing to do whether or not you have pubes.

Whether or not you keep or shave your pubes is a personal choice. Everything depends on if the pubes are getting in the way of things, are becoming smelly, or are becoming itchy. Also, if you have a lot of hair down there, then sometimes it can even get in the way of your dick. You do not have to remove your pubes if you do not want to, and you can just trim them which will work fine, too.

What I would do is invest in a beard trimmer which you customize to make whatever length of pubes you want. You can also use scissors, but that might take a lot of time. A beard trimmer is the way to go since you can get things cleaned up pretty well downstairs with that.

Very good advice. When my hair gets too long for my liking down there, this is what I do.

It's completely up to you! Personally, I prefer mine (and others') natural and I think most straight guys keep theirs natural

Seems like majority of girls trim at least, and ive been told they at least expect clean trimmed from dudes too.

Don't shave. Maybe trim, but I don't really mind having hair down there.

It is totally up to you. That being said, being I could give Chewbacca a run for his money in the who is hairier department and because I started growing pues since I was 11 I have a very thick pubic hairs. Because of that I keep the trimmed down. I wore briefs until i was 13 and because of a day of running, climbing my pubes got rollednup and when i took them off i ripped out a chunk of hair and Because of a experience shaving my chest and stomach I don't dare try to shave it off completely.

In this day and age shaving your body isn't gay or weird, it is your choice. I personally think that keeping body hair short helps keep you cooler and reduces body odor.

I'm 13 also but not real hairy so I let mine go. Did you trim a little? Do you like it better?

I try to trim down there monthly to avoid a jungle sprouting, but if you prefer having no hair at all down there then I suggest using a hair removal cream rather than shaving (Nair works well). Shaving is a hassle and trust me it is no fun when you accidentally cut yourself down there with a razor, or get in-grown hairs from not shaving correctly.

Here's the guide.

Summer, shave no matter what.
Winter, shave if you expect someone to see your penis and sack sexually.
Winter, when you expect someone to see your penis and sack non-sexually(doctor), then trim.
Winter, all other times let it grow out.
Also, if you're brave enough, a more permanent solution in the summer is to get a was. It is more rewarding also(it is so much closer and smoother).

I trim my upper pubes and shave my balls. It just makes it look and feel a lot tidier.
