It's really sad that Lebanon has to be next to such screwy neighbors live Syria and Iran who want to carve out influence for themselves. But the worst part is that urban waste will be the state's undoing.

These types of crises have been occurring nonstop since their civil war. I don't find this particularly concerning.

Oh they've been fighting since the birth of Christ not a huge problem. What needs a lot more attention is Islamic State and other terrorist groups.

Israel withdrawing from occupied territories would go a long way towards peace in the neighbourhood.....

What the hell do the Palestinians in the West Bank have to do with Sunni-Shi'ite-Christian rivalries?

Neither do I but Lebanon used to have some sort of political stability. Now with ISIS, lack of US support, political stagnation, and boatloads of Syrian refugees I am really worried if Lebanon will even exist as we know it in the future.

Lebanon will not be seriously threatened by Daesh, since both in Iraq and Syria it will lose its current potential forces if it does and then regaining the territories occupied by it will be easier.

Unfortunately there is also a bad behavior being established in region that for making your own territory safe, you must try to destablize your rivals, what Israel and Saudi Arabia are the most active nations in it right now which one of their rivals is current Lebanon, particularly the south part of it.

Do not worry,Lebanon has survived worse. It would be okay.
