Hey,
I am 16 and have facial hair. However, I have been dealing with this issue ever since that I started shaving. I can never get a nice close shave like others around me can. Every time I try, it ends up not being close enough or just in a bloody mess. I shave before going to sleep as I often end up with bad results and like giving 10 hours before going out in public again.

Do you guys have tips on how to get a close shave but not cut yourself or get irritation or razor burn? Oh yeah, I used pretty much every type of razors out there and always take a nice long shower before and use oil and cream.

Practice makes better. I personally like to shave in the morning so I can get clean shaven face.

Put hot water (not super hot where it'll burn u tho) on the areas you are going to shave. The hot water opens to pools and softens the hairs which allows you to shave better and closer. Rinse ur face off with cold water after wards. Don't push the razor or whatever u use down too hard cause that will cut ur skin.

Hot water, plenty of foam, decent quality blade, so Gillette or similar. Don't push the blade into your skin, just gently move it across your face in the opposite direction to the way the hairs grow.

Use nice warm water make sure you shave downwards as upwards will create a cut, once you shave downwards and you cant get anymore hair shave slowly upwards to get all the hair good luck!

I like to shave after having a hot shower, as the heat from the shower helps open all the pores in your skin. Get a cleaner shave that way.
