Hi everyone. I'm pansexual and I really want to come out to my family as like bi. Any tips?

Pansexual isn't a very well known term off the Internet, really. If you really wanna come out just tell them that you're not bothered about what gender you date in a casual conversation. I don't think it needs to be a big thing.

As Abhorrence says, pansexual is a pretty uncommon term in real life. If I were you I'd probably start of with saying that you are attracted to all genders, and if you really want to use that specific label, then try to explain it to them.

If you were coming out as bi, you could just tell your family that you're bi and that you hope they accept it but you can't change who you are.

However, because you are pansexual, it might be better just coming clean and telling them that you are, by doing as Abhorrence and DoodleSnap said- explain that you don't mind what gender a person is (:

You could either come out as bi, or tell them that you care about people, not their gender ^^
