Depends on the types of games. But as of currently most games don't work well with Windows 10. If you are looking to play Minecraft, you should be fine. But I am unsure about triple A titles such as Crysis, or something like that. Is there any other information about how fast the cores run at and what part of the R6 series the GPU is?

Is the price range around $600?

I recommend you to look at the Lenovo G50 http://pc4u.org/best-laptop-under-600-dollars/

Personally, I wouldn't use a laptop for gaming, unless the game was something simple

I second this, I think that desktops are the way to go for serious gaming.

Will work fine for some non-graphic-intensive games and/or older ones. Won't work with new, especially triple-A, titles. I have desktop with R7 graphics and most recent game I can run on 'ultra' is Crysis 2 on 1440x900. It can cope with most of the games on 'low' and slightly lowered resolution.

So, most probably that won't be a dream laptop for gaming, unless, as previously mentioned, you don't plan to play only Minecraft.

Woo! RuneScape!

I agree though, is there any reason why you would rather have a gaming laptop than a gaming desktop?

I would also recommend a Desktop comupter, because you'll only get problems with the laptop as time goes by. If you're able to, you can build your own computer, it's a great way to save money. Actually it isn't that hard and if you know how to do it, you can exchange components when they get old.

No.. Well light gaming is possible but anything else would probably end up on low to medium settings. I'd build a proper PC for this money. I'm telling you this because of the graphics card, it's in the range of an Intel integrated graphics. Something like Intel 4000. Otherwise it's a solid laptop.

I wouldn't recommend using laptops for gaming unless you're playing somewhat cheap games that don't require any hard work for your system. A desktop type of computer I would recommend over a laptop
