As I said last thread I would look for more sources and news sites to get a better view at the current news. With the rising tensions on the Korean border and declaration of war being thrown out by the North I wanted to compile these articles so people can understand what is happening. After South Korean officers were injured form mines placed on the borders (The area has always been clear of mines in the past years so these mines were freshly placed) their government has been blasting propaganda from loud speakers in an attempt to fuel more North Korean runaways. Tensions rised as North Korea retaliates.

Please keep any discussion relevant and civil :)
Until the conflict ends (Most likely peacefully as North Korea is known for calling wolf) I will try and keep this thread updated.
Latest Edit: Added article about submarines.

Well, they were always at war. They only maintain a cease fire.

that is true. the Korean War never "officially ended" but merely a cease fire.

Is it really even a cease-fire?I mean I just remember this option from Rome Total War when one faction you are at war with would send yours a diplomat to say that :

Their Demands: Please do not attack.

Their Offer: Accept or we will attack.

It more looks like this

declaration of war

Careful with the terms. A declaration of war (well in this case, a declaration that the cease-fire is over) means war. Typical Nork posturing and machismo doesn't.

I can see shit totally hitting the fan, or nothing happening at all. Only time will tell.

part of the problem is North Korea makes these threats so often it is hard to know when or if they are going to do anything or not

I am going to assume that this is just poor translation rather than an actual declaration of war since it never officially ended, poor choice of words on my part sorry.

Yeah, it's a cease-fire only. Probably nothing will happen.
