When soft, my foreskin just about reaches the end of my penis with none to spare so at times it can partially cover the hole in the end of the head. If I was to pee like that the stream may well go off at a funny angle and make a mess so I pull the foreskin back just slighly to make sure the hole is completely unobstructed.

I have seen guys whose foreskin hangs well over the end of their penis when soft and with that kind of foreskin it is possible to pee without pulling it back at all.

Yeah it works there’s no right way to do it. There’s always gonna be a little pee residue in that area so as long as you wash the foreskin in the shower you’ll be clean
