So hey everyone, today in England is GCSE Results day for all Year 11s and some Year 10s who have taken some exams early. I don't know how many of you will also be having results day but if you did comment here.

I got:
English Literature - A
Core Science - B
English Language - A
History - C
French - C
Additional Science - B
Mathematics - C
Photography - B
Religious Studies - A
Catering - F

I done fucked up. :lol3:
I hope everyone is happy with their results and remember if you aren't, it really is not the end of the world.

Top tips, ACTUALLY revise, don't drink alcohol during exam weeks and try to sleep.

a lot of those grades aren't bad at all man. what is the catering for though? and at any rate you can retake the ones you did not do so well on. I am sure you will do much better man, I know I got a lot of confidence in you =)

besides, academics are only such a small part of life. the world will keep going even if you do not do as well the second time around

You can't retake GCSEs anymore, SethFromMI. I don't give a fuck about any of it anyways, I've already come to terms with the fact I have no talents and no intelligence and I'm going to live a mediocre at best life if I don't get hit by a bus prematurely. Lol

oh I'm sorry man :(

but that is simply not true though. you are super intelligent and you have amazing talents. some of the most successful people in history did not have the fanciest educations. look at Bill Gates. he dropped out of college and is one of the richest men in the world

don't give up at reaching for whatever goals and dreams you have in life. you are amazing Jack and amazing things happen to amazing people

Didn't know you weren't allowed to retake

Well done for your results everyone and good luck on whatever you're doing, A levels are tough if you're gonna carry them on

He dropped out of Harvard... so yes he did have the most excellent of educations.
Most of the GCSEs mean nothing, the only two that do are English and Maths. English I have completely excelled in so I'm fine with that and Maths I can just retake next year as a fifth subject.

Blame the Conservative wankers. They completely changed GCSE education and are also looking to "reform" A Levels too. The only way you can retake most other than English and Maths is to pay for it.

What is 'revising' in your country. As I understand, your education system is completely different.

It's means going over the work we have done. Like recapping it.
