Warning: Contains spoilers for episodes 1-4.

Does anyone on here play (or watch gameplay of) Life is Strange?Any thoughts on the ending of episode 4? Did you see it coming or did you suspect someone else?
Who do you think will save Max from the dark room?

I did not see that coming but I wasn't that surprised because it wasn't the first time the nice person that everybody thinks is great turns out to be the bad guy.
I think she maybe she will escape without anyone's help? That could work.

I love this game, but I haven't played episode 4 yet (spoiled, but not really lol) due to being busy lately and it's low on my priority list. Looking forward to something surprising happening now, because of this thread.

I have to admit that some of this so far is corny, though...and have to remind myself that it's a game. I love the concept of interactive stories/fiction (big fan on this on mobile apps) and I hope to see a lot more of it.

I went through and replayed the first two episodes and 3-4 (which I hadn't played yet) in the past week.

Spoiler Alert

I'm not really surprised at who knocked Max out and kidnapped her. Too many games, movies, and shows have an omg plot twist so I was kind of expecting the "bad guy" not to be the real bad guy. Or at least just an accomplice to someone more evil. Soooo....not shocked. However, they went with the person most logical to do that (I guess?), given their background. I actually think it would have come off as more shocking if Victoria was the sicko with the dark room/studio. Hopefully there's another twist in Episode 5 and it's not really that simple.

I actually think it's going to end up in a replay of focusing on a picture and going back in time for Max to rewrite the story (kind of like the "Chloe in the wheelchair" scenario). This will also bring someone back from the dead. It's the only way I see it working.

(bumping for relevance)

Last episode is downloaded, and will probably play this in the next day or two (no spoiling)....whenever I feel like I have a spare few hours. I have to say that I love that it says "Season Finale" instead of just "Finale," though. That means there is probably at least some talk about continuing this game in some form or another....whether it's with the same characters (whoever makes it out of this lol) or not. I am more than willing to pay for additional episodes/seasons.

I stayed up just to play it. Honestly, it was just...wow.
I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Avoiding episode 5 spoilers is going to be nearly impossible for me since I lost my old save >.< So I need to play all over again, but I have barely any motivation to do so at the moment.

I'm planning on playing last episode tomorrow. I'm so interested on what's gonna happen and it's taking me so much strength right now to not watch the Let's Plays for Episode 5.

I just got done playing the last episode, and it was pretty....different.

The very first part was like watching a trippy episode of Law and Order SVU.

The part near the middle-end was like a weird nightmare (I guess that is what they were going for?).

As much as I would love a sequel or an extension of this series (and I still do), I really don't see how they could do it - with how they presented the ending of the game.

During the middle-end, Max was actually having a nightmare, so yes.
I don't see how they could do a sequel/extension, either, but it would be nice.

I just finished the episode.

The nightmare part kinda freaked me out, probably because we had a power outage during me playing it. Thank god for Auto Save.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who got freaked out. :D I had stayed up all night and started playing it at 6 AM, so that could be why. xP

What did you guys choose when you had to make this very last decision?

I tried both options, but I decided on sacrificing Chloe in the end.
First I thought that Max should really stop tempering with time, so I decided not to go back again. But then I couldn't bring myself to let all those people in Arcadia Bay die, so I changed this last decision.

But for those of you who've seen the ending where you sacrifice Chloe: Am I the only one who was wondering why all those people from Blackwell Academy came to Chloe's funeral? They couldn't even have known her in the reality where she died in that bathroom, could they?

I chose the Sacrifice Arcadia Bay option. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed after hearing that Sacrificing Chloe had more of an detailed ending than Sacrificing Arcadia Bay. I feel like they could've added a tiny bit of detail. I mean their friends and family died, the least they could do was cry as they drove off towards the sunset.

Chloe attended Blackwell but she got kicked out. So that's probably why all the Academy came to her funeral, because she was a former student.

I sacrificed Chloe, and it wasn't even a difficult decision. While Max had an attachment to Chloe....me, as the game player - never had that much of an attachment to Chloe the character. I mean, I did like her character...but didn't really connect with her. I completely identified with Max's character (but was "meh" on the relationship with Chloe itself) the whole time I played the game.

Also, as Melodic said, Chloe had been kicked out of the school and looked like she lived close to there anyways. She had interaction with Nathan, and had probably run across Victoria and her crowd (by association) at some point. Everyone knew her mother at the diner, where she probably hung out sometimes. It seems probable that a lot of people in Arcadia Bay knew who she was.

Ok, that makes sense. Still, I was quite confused when I saw Warren at Chloe's funeral. But then again, maybe he came along for Max' sake.

Yeah, probably more for Max and perhaps for Chloe's mother, too.

Is that a yes or a no?

Is that a yes or a no?

It can be, depends on how you play it :lol3:

so yes I guess.

I liked the story btw, and the way it looked/sounded, but it's not really a game, as a game I didn't like it but as a movie I did.

At one point the player has the choice whether or not he wants the protagonist to kiss her female friend, but that's it.
And I don't get how it's in any way relevant.

Max's sexuality is determined by the player's choices and actions. Chloe used to be bisexual, or as she liked to call her "in a boy toy phase," and Rachel was the first girl she fell in love with and the turning point to realize that she's lesbian.
