As Obama's presidency winds down I worry about him. Along with Bush, he is very unpopular to one half of the nation. These presidents face a tough time ahead because of the fact that security is not catching up to malicious technology. This could leave these important (but polarizing figures) in severe danger from radicals and terrorists.
How would you react if someone killed Obama or Bush?
Personally I would be respectful but I know a lot of people wouldn't. Back in the day people had respect for you if you were elected, but that respect has vanished. Even though I don't agree with Bush's and some of Obama's policies I still honor them because they were voted into office by millions of people.

Even after your presidency is done, your still protected by the CIA. Not as much as you were used to, of course, but still kept a good eye on. You have good connections as well as good money to keep you afloat if you ever need it. To be honest, I don't think anyone wants to kill a former president to be honest, unless you were oblivious to that fact and were just insane.
He'll be fine.

I have other things to do besides worry about the safety for the rich and influential who are able to afford top tier state security and bodyguards. If one of them were killed and it was a terrorist, I'm sure people would go batshit and the government would find another reason to stay in the Middle East.

I doubt that a Terrorist Group would have a former President as there #1 target. Terrorist groups seem to target more prominent people and important Government Buildings and events. I think former Presidents like Obama and W. Bush will be just fine. If they would be killed I would be concerned and saddened for there families though.

id laugh and declare; "one less!"
seriously though, theres already very little objective gain for someone to hit a state executive in the current climate, much less a former president, so obama and bush will likely enjoy his time golfing

Maybe Michelle developed ambitions as Hillary and becomes President. Then Barak can do First Lady-job and again he's fully protected.

it wouldn't matter, at all. attempts on a president's life are completely pointless
even if someone blew up Congress during a session, I think THE SYSTEM would recover to its business as usual fuckery pretty quick (in fact it'd backfire and give us a double dose)
best course of action is just to wait until it collapses in on itself. that way they can't respawn.

Every sitting US president becomes the new ultra-target, so I doubt ex-Presidents have anything to worry about.
In any case, ex-Presidents continue to get protection from the CIA
