View Full Version : Brother's younger than me but more developed

I know this is probably a bit weird to say, but i dont really know who else to ask... So, I'm 16, and my brother is 12, but he's more developed than me. Like, he has a bigger penis than me and more hair, when I still don't have any on me. I'm only like 3.4", and he's like 6 or 7.

I dont really mind about hair, but its annoying because we share a room and he's much bigger than me so he gets all the boys i want to date, and I dont know what to do to make myself better. Does anyone know why this happened? or has it happened to any of you?

Is that the soft size or hard size? By the way boys who only care about penis size is not worth dating! :)

Not much you can do. Could speak with your Dr :)
otherwise just wait

there isnt much you can do about it, its all a matter of genetics and maybe he got some of the genes that developed earlier. I wouldnt stress it, you still have time to do some growing and besides, size isnt everything, its knowing what to do with what youve got that matters.

Wouldn't worry too much about it mate. Some people are just early bloomers in comparison to others, while others are a bit later. It sounds like there's a combination of both at play here with both you and your sibling. Even not accounting for this, there's no guarantee that you'd be taller, or be larger downstairs than your brother; even with the age difference. I'd just go with the flow and see how things pan out. If you're not that much different in comparison to your peers at school in terms of stature, chances are that you're developing at a steady and mainstream pace and that things will end up fine.

Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum Charlie!

The age difference in this case is pretty large but I don't think you need to worry yet. It's common even within a family that brothers develop differently, and your time will come eventually.

Before I start, damn you're really hot! Honestly, I doubt his dick is really as big as you say it is. Maybe you just see it differently from different angles and perspectives. He might think yours is bigger. Besides, where you are at in puberty now is irrelevant. At the end you're both going to come out of it with something of the same penis size and hair due to genetics. You have nothing to worry about.

You probably have a really low testosterone level. My older brother had that. All you need to do is tell your mum or dad and they can talk to a doctor or something and you can get a shot to speed up puberty with testosterone

Everybody develops differently, sometimes its lifes joke. At my nudist camp their is an 11 yr old boy that is bigger than his father. People just delvelop faster and slower. Just remember it's not the size that counts, its how you use it.

You're probably just a late bloomer and he probably started early

just give it a bit of time and chance to develop, if nothing happens then contact the doctor

Probably it's just matter of time but there is nothing to lose to ask a doctor.

Maybe you're just a late bloomer. It may seem like you'll never start growing and getting hair down there, but you will. You might even hate it once your pubes really start coming in like I do haha.

Have you actually started puberty yet? If not, you might want to see a Dr to get some testosterone shots. Try going here http://growingupboys.info/Calculators/TannerStage.htm and see what you score!

I got 1.7 there, what does that mean?

IMO that's pretty low for your age but I Wouldn't start worrying too much about it yet. Like a load of people have already said, it might just be that you're a late bloomer.

The same thing is happening with my bro, I'm 14 he's 12 and is bigger and hairier than me too. Not sure about his penis size tho... but IDK if that matters about puberty rate or just genetics

you will man. it is very possible when you do, you will see a pretty rapid change. it can suck to have to wait but it will happen. still, if you are worried, you can always talk to a doctor

Have you developed or grown in other places or is everything proportionate? I know someone who seems to be like you, he's the same age as me but looks as if he's a few years younger and he seems like he's only starting to develop more now!

1.7 would suggest you have started puberty, although only just. The scale starts a 1 for not started to 5 completely finished. I was late starting as well, but I am now at 3.4. If it really worries you then go and see a Dr, I know they can give testostorone shots to help you catch up, but it might be a bit embarrassing as I guess they would want to have a good look at you. Looking at the guides at the bottom of the page the upper average age for stage 2 is 15 and you have not get there yet so I am sure they would help you. Puberty sucks!

Ah ok, well if you're anything like my friend then you should be ok! He seems to be developing pretty quickly and out of knowhere so just expect it to happen soon, hopefully! From what I know, he didn't go to the Dr, just happened naturally. All the dr is like to tell you is that it happens to everyone at different stages anyway!

I started puberty myself much later than other guys (15 or 16) so don't worry about it. No-one actually know exactly why puberty occurs earlier in one person to another.

Pertinent question: As a gay man, do you plan to predominantly be passive or to be the dominant one in sexual relations

If that's the case, size won't be all that important haha.

Yeah, i guess, but its still really annoying because i dont look like i've hit puberty yet, when people like my brother do, so hopefully i do soon
