cuz here in Germany almost everyone shaves his pubes, most their armpits and some chesthair. Even the age of getting hairs everywhere seems to be different from your heritage.

Quite simply, Muslims can't engage in worship unless they have shaved their pubic and armpit hair. Excessive hair (in scientific terms) can encourage bacterial growth and is considered unhygienic. And personal hygiene and cleanliness is a prerequisite for worship, hence the religious obligation to shave.
