I've been stretching my ears for about 4 years now so I know the basic in's and outs, I'm at 14mm and 12mm and have been for about a year now and I'm having a bit of a problem with scar tissue.
When I was at about 8mm 2 years ago I forced a taper in and caused a blow out which really messed my ear up but I downsized and was able to rectify it somewhat but wasn't able to stretch for ages, I've got it to 12 now but my goal is 16 for both.
So I know not many people here have stretched ears but if you do/know someone that does, what do you do to help with scar tissue? I've been massaging bio oil on them over the last 2 years but very irregularly and I'm not sure it helps much. And I'd like to know how you upsize? Some people use the taping method and some use generic tapers but I'm finding it hard to find bigger tapers and I don't really understand how to tape to bigger sizes.

I'm at 12mm in both ears, I'm not gonna be the best with advice cos I only started stretching in December 2014 and I went really fast but my friend had some issues like that and used aloe vera gel I think. Might work for you. There's this one YouTuber called Morgan Joyce who did a stretching ears faq which was quite helpful, I would link but I'm on my phone [emoji14]

Bloody hell, 12mm in 6 months?! How are your ears not fucked? Ahh I'll try aloe vera and yeah I've researched quite a lot of techniques and stuff but I'll look them up. Cheers for the help!

Tbh, I have no idea. I'd previously stretched my ears last year also but took them out at 8mm. But my ears are absolutely fine haha. Btw, I'm stretching with silicone tunnels now which is also not recommended but I just thought I'd say. No problem! :)

Nonono, you definitely shouldnt stretch with silicone. If you haven't had a blowout yet you definitely will if you carry on that way, it puts on too much pressure at once. I'm allergic to it, even the o-rings on tapers so I've never been able to try the method but yeah it can definitely mess up your ears. You probably wont care until something bad happens though, that's what I was like xD

Pretty much got it spot on, I really won't care at all until my ear is falling off xD but I was expecting a lot of pain with silicone but I felt nothing at all. Not even a stab of pain, just nothing so I was happy xD
