EDM frowned upon?

Probably a stupid question, but is Electronic Dance Music like frowned upon in Canada/USA? Like is it viewed as a form of music thats pretty stupid?

Depends on who you talk to tbh. Some of my friends love it, some hate it. Personally, I'm pretty much indifferent to it. If it comes on, I'll listen to it.

I agree it depends on who you're talking to. I know a lot of people who are into it, but it's not my thing. Everyone has different tastes.

I think there are still tons of clubs that plays all different styles of EDM.

it annoys me far less than most other genres, so that's something
