Hi I'm really into good strategy games so... yeah can you tell me what you all play. I play civ 5 and chaos reborn and I'm looking at Europa universalis 4.

If you play civ I want to know if you use any good mods. If you have eu4 can you tell me if it's good. Thanks.

Eu4 is great. Also try Victoria 2, Crusader Kings 2 and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

Board game wise I play Chess.
Otherwise I'm a casual World of Warcraft player if that counts as strategy?

I like most board games :)

I also play Civilization (not that often anymore) and Football Manager - I like strategy and puzzle games.

The mods I have used in Civ have just been the civilizations/countries that other people have added - the real ones. Nothing really odd.

Shameless plug at hearthstone? That's great because you can play on your phone now as well (iOS and android)

If you love the time period, have a fatter wallet from all the DLCs that there are, and don't mind the learning curve, then EU4 is a great game. In fact, all paradox grand strategies tend to be (especially Crusader Kings 2!)

Another game to add would be Darkest Hour, a buyable mod for Hearts of Iron 2 from Paradox, it's even better than HOI3 and with the mod Kaiserreich (An alternate history when Germany won WWI) it's gets truly epic. Without a doubt one of the only mods that exceeds it's original creation in every single way possible. If you love WWII or just Political History in general, Kaiserreich for Darkest Hour is a must-have.

Some other games to point out are the Total War series, Dominions series, Endless Legend (It's like Civ, but it has a really sharp and fresh psuedo-fantasy feel about it) and a new game called Sovereignty: Crown of Kings. It's still in Early Access, and it's not all too known, but it has potential to be a very rewarding experience in the long run.

Good luck!

Civilization 5, but you allready play that. Heroes of Might an Magic 3, Age of Empires 2 HD, Anno1701, History line 1914-1918, very old but good. The Paradox games are a bit to complex for me, I have Victoria II and Hearts of Iron 3 and I mostly don't know what I do.

I agree with Stronk Serb. In General, Paradox makes high quality games

IMO a "good game", is a game where your left satisfied when accomplishing something, so a good game has to be difficult.
If skill ceiling is the criteria. Chess and Broodwar.

I'd pick Broodwar, you probably find it more fun. Also overall, no game/sport has a higher ceiling than BW.
Because of the finger dexterity and intense mechanics in combination with how fast you have to react and make decisions.

Civ4 is fun. Yes, army stacking can be a nightmare and squares are flawed, but it's much more fine-grained (I think they call it micromanagement) and there is no goddamn warmonger penalty. Also you'll never encounter Civ with just a few units, no matter the difficulty (in civ5 even on diff 5 there are Civs which are laughably easy to conquer; gives impression civ4 has harder diff levels). Diplomacy is far superiour as well.
If you're into real-time strategies, Age of Mythology used to be 'a classic' among my friends when I was younger (not like I'm old now), but looking back, it was't all that good. There are nice Age of Empires games though.

I have been so addicted to Clash of Clans for the past 2 years. I'd call it a strategy game because of the bases you'd have to attack, and the army compositions you use to defeat it. Also creating your own base is strategic.
