I consider cheating as doing something sexual or dating another guy.

Seeing another guy in any capacity beyond platonic friendship. It's different for other people, though.

Cheating is when you do romantic and/or sexual acts with someone who is not your partner (unless you're in an open relationship). I'd say anything that is beyond a platonically affectionate action is cheating in my book. Like a hug would not be, kissing would be. I think I'd also consider explicit and/or lovey-dovey messages would be cheating, unless sarcastically said, I guess.
