Hi, I'm not that sure if this can be posted in this section, if not I'm really sorry and I will post it in the right section.
Well, I recently turned 17 years old, I have been thinking about losing my virginity with a prostitute since I was 16 years old.
I have never had a girlfriend, so thats the reason why I'm thinking about that.
I have been too shy to ask a girl to hangout, so if I'm too shy to that, imagine how shy would I be to ask her to date/be my girlfriend.
On the internet I feel waaay more secure to do that, but I dont like long distance relationship (event hough I considered it before).
In all my life, only one girl has had a crush on my and asked to be her boyfriend but I said no because:
-It was going to be a long distance relationship
-I had a crush on her friend
-I didn't want to be her boyfriend
So when I said no to her, she hated me, so in my opinion I don't regret of doing that because she doesn't respect other people's tastes.
Her friend was the only person that I said that I would like her to be my girlfriend even though I said that it was not going to happen because it was going to be a long distance relationship, after that I don't know if she was asking me to be her boyfriend, even thoguh I was staright with my position, until a couple months later, that I considered about a long distance relationship, so I told her that I want her to be my girlfriend but she said no because I'm just not her type of boyfriend she wants. Anyway, we were veeery good friends, we talked like almost every day.
My last school year I did a goal which consisted to tell most of the girls I like that I like them but, that was in private and with each, I like 3 girls, but I confessed that to 2 (both of them were in the same grade as me).
I have been very insecure of myself, I have been getting depressed because of not having a girlfriend and also because of my self esteem which is low.
My 16th year was my most depressing year and the year with the lowest self esteem ever, so you can imagine how was that.
Now going back to hiring a prostitute to lose my virginity, I have also thought:
1.The STDs, but it's my more my intrest to lose my virginity than think about the STDs.
2.What if I get a girflriend if I lose my virginity with a prostitute? I know she will mostly dislike that, but at the same time I have told to myself to not be eternal waiting to get a girlfriend.
3.When I will lose my virginity with a prostitute? Sometimes when as soon as I have the legal age (which is 18 years old or older) and as soon as I have the money. By the way my plan is to lose my virginity in a brothel, which they are legal here (Well, all thing related to prostitution are legal here as long as they are not exploted and/or they are underaged). Other times I think about doing that after college if I don't have or atleast had a girlfriend.
Now I just graduated from highschool, but I was not accepted in the college I was going to, so I have to wait until next year.
So yeah I have thinking about those things.
I don't know why so many people says that lose your virginity with the one you love, I seriosuly don't know why the virginity is so precious for many people, maybe is because I have never been in a relationship? The virginity for me is just something that I want to get rid of.
I admit that sex is one of my reasons to have a girlfriend but it's not the main one, if I have a girlfriend I will respect her, be loyal to her, love her, litsen to her when she has problems, support her, help her, if she doesnt want to lose have sex I will respect that decision, I will never force her to do that. I will do my best to be her best boyfriend ever.
By the way sorry for my english, is not my first language.
I hope you give your opinions about this, thanks for reading!

I'm not really sure what you want advice on? Are you asking if its ok to pay for sex?
I'd say its your life, your choice, your money. But paying for it won't be special like it would if you had a proper girlfriend
Just be careful too.

Thank you for your answer! You are right, in the end is my choice, my money.
And well, yeah, I want to know if for you guys think is ok to do that, or advice me how to not be shy to date a girl.

I think it is ok to do it if you want to do it. I wouldn't make a judgement on people for paying.
But you could try and work on your confidence around girls. If you're shy i know it feels hard but just take it slowly and build up your confidence with girls. You might find you meet the perfect girl one day soon :)

Thanks man! I have imagined myself in a relationship, it would be awesome to be in an amazing relationship.
I'm going to not to be shy in college anymore, that's my next goal, another problem in myself is that when I'm going to talk to some girls (mainly the ones I don't really talk much) I ran out of ideas what to talk about, sometimes I think about what to talk and then when I'm going to start the conversation, I can't talk like I was thinking about, I don't know if this has to do something about shyness but it's annoying :(

Sorry for this double reply, another question of this topic is what should I do about this situation? Go for it? Or wait until the perfect girl? And why?

Well i'd wait a while for the right girl to come along as you're very young so why rush?
But if you feel impatient just do what you have to do :)

I may never understand why so many folk make such a thing about this virgin stuff.
Also, I can't imagine having sex with a prostitute. Maybe I'm too stingy^^ or not old enough to imagine it. You must decide this on your own, i guess. But if you decide to do so, you should have sex only with condoms.

Prostitution is something for me that is morally reprehensible. Leave it, loosing virginity is nothing you can be proud of it. Achieve it on another way. Before you'll regret it

Don't go the prostitution route. Let your first time be special, not an in and out with a prostitute. It's morally wrong and you won't have any enjoyment from it.

Firstly, finding a prostitute willing to possibly break the law by having sex with a minor (depending on country), would be rather difficult. That and the fact pimps aren't exactly easy to find for 'shy' young boys, and are usually found in areas you'd be beaten up/worse.
Secondly, loooooads of STI's. Be like bathing in them.
Thirdly, you would be taking advantage of mentally unwell victims of sexual abuse trying to repeat abuse patterns, potentially from their childhoods. This would make you just as bad as the original rapist/abuser.
Lastly - I smell something off about this.

I doubt whether that is always the case. Also i find it a bit off to put all the blame on the man/client when the woman/prostitute is willingly entering into it. Not all prostitutes have a pimp either
But anyway if he can avoid going down this route then he should.

Based on what do you doubt it? Or do you just 'feel' it isn't the case. You think all these women love being treated like meat by men? Really?
Of course all the blame is on the client. 'Enter into it willingly' - they are psychologically unwell. It's a bit like hiring someone with OCD to clean your house, only much worse, as you are taking advantage of a vulnerable individual's mental health problem.
Have you ever met child sexual abuse/rape victims?

Why is it morally wrong? I don't understand that, and for me sex is just sex, like I said before, I have never been in a relationship so I don't know things like the value of the virginity and having sex with someone you love.

1.Well I don't really trust prostitutes from the street, so for that reason if I go on that route I would be going to a well recognized brothel, I don't care if it's more expensive but I think it's safer and brothels are legal as long as there are no underaged people.
2.That's a thought, the STD's, but I'm not thinking about it that much, for example if I get STDs I have been thinking on saying something like Well, atleast I'm not virgin anymore
3.I would really feel so bad about that and also, what if the prostitute I hire is a prostitute because she is being forced? Seriosuly, I will feel really bad.
4.I don't know what you mean with the last point.
Thank you for your answer!

Theninja98x I'm 16 and still a virgin, to be honest it's no shame. Like Body odah Man said, your first time should be special, you may come to regret it ALLOT when you grow up. Remember, your first time will only happen once, the feeling of loosing your virginity will never come back, which is why it's special. Just think about it, allot.

I'm not saying don't lose your virginity to a prostitute but wait until your the legal age for prostitution and see if you still want to do it then.

Not all prostitutes are mentally unwell or a victim of abuse and rape
Get off your high horse and stop being so pretentious. You don't know every single prostitute or their background
You obviously think you know it all. You don't like men/boys much either i'm sure we all got that message. In another of your posts you think it would be acceptable to carry out an assault on a boy because you're a girl and its ok for a girl to assault a boy isn't it.
You'd be one of the ones screaming loudest if a man hit a woman. Double standards is something i hate.
Men get abused and treated badly by women too, its not just all those nasty men and the women are the poor victims all the time.

Go look up the research papers.
You really are a petulant, aggressive child looking to start fights. Why are you following me around this site ranting your ridiculous lies about me? Haven't you anything better to do?
Look up the meaning of 'pretentious', your post makes no sense.
At no point did I condone any violence against anyone. I addressed your misunderstanding at length in that other thread, where it should have stayed.
I have no problem AT ALL with men/boys, and have NEVER expressed such. Stop lying about me and trying to put sexist words in my mouth, it's pathetic.
I'd also like to point out that on this topic, the vast majority of prostitutes are female and vast majority of users are men. So even if I had brought gender into my argument, it would have been highly relevant. But this isn't a debate thread.

P.S. if you don't like me, stop quoting me.

i'm not following you around the site, you're not that special. I am replying to posts, thats what happens on a forum
i'm not aggressive or petulant. i just don't agree with what you said, not everyone is going to agree with you on everything all the time, thats life
I find it offensive to prostitutes to make a sweeping statement about them all casting assumptions on their mental health or history
I know what the word pretentious means, i don't need to look it up thank you
