Hi, basically I cant seem to be loosing body fat around my stomach, arms chest etc! I hate it and I am really embarressed as I go away in october with all mt family and I don't want to embarres myself by being fat! Whats the best thing to do?

Well assuming you mean gaining, the best and easiest thing to do is sign up to the gym and work on the abs machine, but since you're most likely not going to do that...

Cut down on fat intake
Take a lot of (natural) protein.
Do a relatively high number of repetitions on your standard abs workout at home: lean down, knees up, hands to your chest and touch your knees with your forehead then back down.
Rise the number of repetition everyday by as much as you feel comfortable. Take into account you should be doing 3 series of X reps, and you'll be knackered by the last one, so don't raise by 5+ everyday unless you really need the as that's 15+ a day added

Play sport like Football and Rugby

Swimming, cycling, walking

Work out

Eat healthily and cut down your portion sizes

I have joined a Gym, but should I do Cardio too or won't that help?

Cardio helps loose day in general, but a specific workout focuses on a certain area. You could complement the work out with 15-20min of running, that won't hurt at all
