Armpit Hair

Idk, I kinda find it embarrassing.... I am a gymnast and I recently got to do a competition but I was so embarrassed about my armpit hair... Yesterday my friend asked if I wanted to go swimming with her but I said no cause I don't have any swimming pants that fit me (which is true but it isn't the main reason) so what do u guys do with it? Do u shave it or leave it? Thx in advance

I leave mine cuz i don't have much, but I know guys that do shave it.
You shouldn't not do things just becuase of armpit hair, don't be ashamed of what you look like.

Yeah,don't be ashamed of it.I used to be terrified to show others my armpit hair as I've always had a lot of it.The only the way to conquer that fear is to show it,after a while you'll get used to it and it won't be nearly as embarrassing as it was before.You can shave it if you want to,but others may expect you to have armpit hair because most guys around 14-16 have it,it's normal.Also,I find shaving it leaves your armpit very itchy and painful.Even with trimming,it still itches pretty bad.I just leave it alone and nobody has ever commented about my armpit hair.

I would certainly advocate getting used to it rather than shaving it. You can't be a Peter Pan forever, pretending to still be the child you are growing out of rather than than the man you are growing into.

Ya I think guys should have armpit hair. I have no problem with mine. If it was so long that it showed when I crossed my arms I would definitely trim it down to an inch or two so it didn't come out of my pits.

I leave it. Girls shave it yeah, but all it really does is lessens odor (odor gets trapped in armpit hair). So only shave it if you have a B.O. problem

I wouldn't be embarrassed about your armpit hair because it is a natural thing that all guys get. Because you are a gymnast it might not be a bad idea for you to shave your armpits because it seems like a lot of folks who are athletes do shave. However, it's a personal preference, and you need to do what works best for you. Having hair is not a big deal, and every guy has some armpit hair.

i have very little so leave it. none of my friends shave theirs, even if they shave their pubes, leave armpits natural

ah try not to worry about it. Most people should expect a guy to armpit hair. I leave mine but if you feel like yours is getting too long then trim it a bit

Don't be ashamed of your armpit hair, it is natural and doesn't make you weird. If one day you decide to shave it, then go for it, do what makes you comfortable. But realize that armpit hair is absolutely normal
