My parents bought me my razors when they started to see visable facial hair growing, so i didnt have to ask.

I'd say that i have been shaving just over a year and a half now.

As i didnt have to ask it wasnt awkward at all, and as they brought me a pack of 3 five bladed razors i use one on my face and one in the pubic area and the other one when the first becomes worn. if your asking about razors for the pubic area i didnt have to ask for that. thankfully.

why should I ask my parents? if I want/need to shave sumday, I'll buy my own razor.

My parents bought me one when I needed to shave...but just use ur dads ir brother's if u care that much or go to the store and buy one

I see threads like this quite often, and I find them a little unordinary. I never had to ask my parents to buy me one. I went out and got my own :P even when I went out with my mom to the drug store, I'd just put it in the cart and she would buy it for me. I don't see why it would be awkward, it's your business, especially if it's facial hair and not pubic hair you're planning on shaving

I was too embarrassed to ask my parents for a razor (because it implied puberty had hit, and I'm a bit too self conscious about puberty, I do anything to avoid talking to my parents about anything puberty related.) so I just used my dads one when I had a shower every week or so.
I had a serious injury back in 2013 which basically meant I almost died, had to have emergency surgery (hence the 10cm scar on my thigh) and couldn't walk for 3 months -_-
Whilst I was in hospital I slowly grew a monster beard, so my dad kinda worked out I needed one and bought me one.

I got it easy, I've no idea how long I'd have kept going using my dads one before I asked him for one..
