More than one best friend

Just out of curiosity do u guys think it is possible to have more than one best friend. When I say best friend I mean the person you hang out with all the time, trust, tell them anything. What is your opinion on this. I believe you can only have one true best friend that you can call your best friend but I do feel that u can have other really close friends that you are almost as close too.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Unless and until you want to reserve the title of 'best' friend as exclusive I don't think there's any need to limit the number of true friendships you have. It is more of an individual choice how many people someone wants to trust and consider as best friends. I feel searching for that one perfect person whether in friendships or relationships who would be the true best friend or the true life partner is a futile exercise because he/she will probably not exist.

Yeah, imo. I think people make a huge deal out of the ~*best friend*~ title, and being to anal about who exactly is your best friend just complicates shit that didn't matter in the first place. Or at least in my experience.
I consider a best friend to be someone I can talk to about anything and everything, be able to confide in each other, etc. There are multiple people like that in my life.

I think it is definitely possible. I mean I have two best friends. Well, I guess I only have two friends so they immediately take the title. By best friends though, I guess we are kind of different because we don't overly share stuff with each other just because of the way we are. I like keeping my private life away from people and it is just better that way.

I have two really good friends ( 1 boy and 1 girl) I'd call my best friends. I'm equally close to both and can't pick one over the other so to me they are both my best friends:)
