So me and my best friend are living together right now and he is a great guy. However his GF is just rude and sarcastic all the time. She is very blunt and will just tell you what she thinks right off the bat, like the first time I met her she said, "You have bad hair and your car looks stupid." I tried to ignore it and slowly began to just tolerate her whenever she was around. All that changed when me and him went to the beach with a bunch of our other friends we hadn't seen in a while to hang out. She came along and completely dominated everything we did. First off, she split us into two groups since she wanted alone time to do stuff with my best friend, which is her boyfriend, but this was supposed to be a day that we all hung out together. She continuously insulted me all day long as well. Finally when we were able to find eachother again, she kept taking him and walking away or lagging behind the group, but somehow she managed to be in control of wherever we were going and what we did. My best friend bought everything for her and she never said thank you, that day I decided that I just hate her, there is no tolerating it. Sorry for the long post, more or less I am just venting my anger. What do you think of her or anything that could be done?

She is controlling and wants him to herself. Next she'll be trying to cut him off from his other friends completely.

My cousin married a controlling girl and now hes cut off from his parents because she ordered him to choose between them and her

Girls like this are just control freaks

tell him he needs to chunk that bitch and reexamine his standards (he won't listen but do it anyway so you can I-told-you-so him later)

I'm totally with you on overly possessive girlfriends, there's nothing more irritating than getting third-wheeled by some ball-busting cunt who spends the entire visit babbling about stupid shit punctuated by pouty-faced bitching. but here's the thing: relationshits like this one are almost always a codependent kind of thing. normal guys would never put up with such a nutty bitch or her shenanigans, so unfortunately I think you pretty much have to be kind of screwed up yourself if you "see anything" in an obviously crazy girl who was single for 3 years for a reason.

I know a guy who has his head rammed so far up the girlfriend's ass that all you can see are his toes sticking out - she all but leads him around on a leash, and most hilariously he keeps all his money in her bank account. yes you read that correctly, his paychecks go in her account, direct motherfucking deposit. "do as I say or the mall is suddenly a couple grand richer". it's truly mesmerizing in the most horrific sort of way. dude has his gf's name in his phone contacts as "my Heaven" (LMAO) but given the amount of time he spends hiding in his room playing LoL 11+ hours a day, I'd say it's closer to "my seventh circle of hell"

it gets even worse. he's now announcing that he knocked her up and is looking forward to having a kid, which to me sounds like he's reading from the script she handed him. I'd bet everything that the crazy nutbag pulled a used condom out of the trash can and knocked herself up. lel/lmao enjoy paying child support dumbass

I may or may not have just ranted a lot

Yeah I know, she just controls him and he doesnt seem to think about it. She makes him pay for everything and to be honest, she is a bit of a slut since my friend has told me about all the guys she said she has had sex with and still "hangs out" with them. Me and all my other friends hate her and we know she is just using him for sex and benefiting from him paying for everything. In a nutshell, she is a prostitute. I have told my friend that I don't like her so he knows, but he just kinda says, "Well she is my girlfriend, and I like her." Duh fuck, come one. I know that she will cheat on him, or already is and that is how its going to end. Hopefully soon.

Reading this and what phuckphace posted made me re-evaluate my relationship lol.
Fortunately I am not controlled, I can actually chill with my friends and her and not get chained.

Hahaha sounds like my cousin's former wife.

This totally sounds racist but I have to ask. What's the girl's cultural backround and race?

Some cultures I've found create power complexes in people and it creates a harsh need for control in their lives and it affects relationships.

These are the situations where eventually you'll be watching a 20/20 or Dateline murder mystery of a romance gone bad.

Sounds like a chick I have feelings for (she hates me cuz I wouldn't transfer 1500 euroes). Frickin mess, relationships like this. Sadly for some reason the guy never ends them at all, or rarely. But no, that's not a normal relationship.

Cut the weed at it's root before it breaks him, literally. Also advice for phuckphace , stuff her drink with bad baby pills and hope for misscarriage, do it for your friend.

The only reason I have not tried to end it is because I am far too nice. I don't want to hurt my friend nor make him dislike me because getting them to break up would put a real damper on our friendship and he is just too nice of a guy to give up, he is family to me and I don't want to hurt him. More or less I have to just sit and wait.

Either that or she puts a chain around his neck and drags him like her bitch. She's practically doing that. I suggest you just tell him, get some of your mutual friends too. Friends are there always, he can find another one which will be a lot better suited for him.

Perhaps, I will think about doing that

Sometimes you have to let people fall on their face. IF your friend won't listen to the advice he is being given, you just have to let him keep doing what he is doing and hope he eventually wakes up to the realization of the truth.
