Ok, I'm not gonna lie I am overweight. I've recently joined a Gym and I have gone, however I need to loose a lot of weight (e.g my belly fat) before I go on holiday with ALL my family in October. I dont want to be embarrassed when I go to the pool etc. I am unfortunately getting stretch marks on my arms which is constantly making me feel down. I'm not asking for a six pack, just ways to quickly get rid of stomach fat.
What are the best things at the Gym to do to loose it fast?
How long should I spend at the Gym?
How many days per week should I go to the gym?
Also one more problem, when I went to the Gym Induction, I saw a few people from my year at school who since then have taken the mic out of me and is making me feel uncomfortable incase I see them at the gym.
I am 15 yrs old

First of all the people who take the piss screw them they aren't worth your time just smile at them do your thing that will annoy them more than getting angry at them to lose weight try things like sit ups crunches weights etc the biggest thing you can do is change your diet cut out all fattening foods if you can and eat smaller portions I've lost 2.5 stone in the last few months doing that now I have a six pack so if you did it you'd at least lose your belly fat maybe get toned as well

I keep coming across articles that say the same thing: Weight loss is about 25% working out and 75% dieting. So I suggest what Mil1dreded recommended. Good luck! And don't worry, as long as you have a positive mindset, you can reach any goal :)

Stretch marks are due to weight gain and now weight loss..I got them when i started to fill out after being skinny all my life..They were mainly in my love handle, belly, butt and thigh area where my new fat settled..I applied a moisturizing cream which settled them to a degree.

Modern food is responsible for weight gain in teens. My dad too was a stick skinny teen who now has put on and a tad overweight. But with him he was skinny in his teens as well with weight creeping in during his College days..I was skinny only upto lyk 15 and then weight started to creep up. Now I'm "skinny-fat" ...I blame this difference between generations on diet.

Diet is more important than workout plan, but diet in connection with workout plan is the best to lose weight. Don't change your eating habits suddenly, do it gradually.Everything is in your hand, don't look at other people's opinion:)

What's most important is burning more than you consume. Sure it's best not to eat fast food all the time, but what's more important than what you are eating is the amount of energy measured usualy in calories. You don't have to count calories but think carefuly about snacks and especialy drinks like coke with a very high amount of sugar and therefore calories. As for exercising, you could go to the gym a few times a week but what's most important is things like running because it burns a lot of energy.
