Jealousy?

So I met my best friend like a year and a half ago and we've connected with each other really fast and quickly became really close and he has been by my side every time I needed him, he's always shown me support, he hasn't given up on me even though I went through some horrible phases and basically he has been the best, and still is, and I consider him the best person ever. But he's kinda more popular than me and has more friends. And even though he does make time for me, he does go out with other people too and I know that it's normal but.. Well how do I say this without sounding like a horrible human being? Well Idk I guess I get jealous when he goes out with other people and I see a photo from a party or a checkin or something

I mean I know it's natural for someone to have multiple friends (I also hang out with other people too) and I know that he doesn't have such an intimate relationship with others, as he has with me, but I still can't help feeling jealous. has anyone experienced this? I mean I know it's all in my head...

When people are friends for years, sometimes part of them change,
and you are not always the same person you are. He now has more friends.
It hurts and weird but maybe you should accept that fact.
Maybe you are not fitting each other like before.
I think you should continue to be who you are and not change for him.
Just be with him when he has time and do just the things you like to do.
Don't do things that he likes, just for making him want to be with you more..
And find more friends :)

It's good you got a friend you can call a best, that's special, really is
Everyone should have a best friend... just a thought tho, you've known each other for about a year now, r u sure he feels as close to you as you do to him?
