Psych Evaluation Question

i live in canada, and i was wondering if anyone knew if i needed parental consent for a psychiatric evaluation? i am nearly fiffteen.

I don't know Canadian laws but I'd probably say you would. In England you can't really do a lot without parents until you're sixteen. However, you could always call up your doctor to ask, there's no harm in questioning.

technically you're still a minor so you'll probably need parental consent. however even if it's not required letting your parents know is pretty important. it's scary at first, letting them in can be hard and I still struggle with it years after they first found out. being on the same page helps with the healing process
