The real Prom Night

In about 2 or 3 weeks prom will be here even though this is my senior year I'm not sure I'm going. I don't want to end up all sad and lonely because I don't have a date but I don't want to miss out what could be my only opportunity at going to my prom. This boy I like asked me about it (but I wouldn't go with another boy) I said I wasn't sure and he told me that even if I don't have a date I should go and right there I was just like staring in his eyes and it made me feel so good because he hardly talks to me and I was tempted to asking him but I didn't. Still he was right though and it has gotten me thinking about it. I don't know I'm torn between what do you guys think I should do?

well if there are any girls that you want to go with you why not ask them, and if this guy who is your friend goes with you and he doesnt have a date then you will be there together and can just hang out and have fun!

Thomas, if you want to go, you should go. You only get one senior prom, so unless you're POSITIVE that you don't want to go and you won't feel bad about missing it, give it a shot. If you like, you could organize a small group of friends to go with, so you can have a good time, not be alone, and still get to hang out with the afore mentioned "boy I like". Then, you don't have to be there as the date of another boy, but you still get to do the whole prom thing with him.

Or, you could see how attached he is to actually going to prom, and if he's up for it you could boycott together. Get some food, see a movie (the theatres will be virtually empty since everyone will be at the dance, so no waiting in line for popcorn), and just hang out.

Of course, your prom night plans don't have to involve him. It just seems like you really like him so I decided to tailor the options to incorporate him, haha. :)

Actually thats not a bad idea and it would be great for us to just hangout I rather go to the movies with a cute guy then the prom alone
