I've now been running for 3-4 weeks now, i usually go for about 40mins i dont normally go for a shorter period of time. When i first started my legs completely hurt and i got out of breath incredibly quickly, but know my legs dont hurt at all really and i dont get out of breath for the first 5-10 mins now. Additionally, i usually have a half way break for about 5 mins to strecth out abit, but yesterday i didnt need to as i'm finding it so much easiear now. So should i increse my distance or keep it the same do you think. I'm all about pushing myself to the limit and try to do the best i can at everything, however my parents said if i go further i will cause myself and injury or get ill what do you think?
Thankyou

Almost 5km, i,m not sure that it actually takes me 40 mins to do the run as i only had a qucik look at the clock, i'll time my self tonight to check. I do know that that is the distance i do for sure at the moment.

Then I'd say yes, you should try increasing your distance.
