A young woman has shown us all what true love really is after she came to the defence of her boyfriend who was bullied online over his appearance.
It all started when 21-year-old Ashley Stevens took a funny photo after catching the bouquet at a wedding.
Making fun of the special moment, her boyfriend Christopher Reed, also 21, pulled a horrified face, while her dad gives him a disapproving look.
One of Ashley's friends, who thought it was a great snap, decided to share it on Reddit, but never expected what came next.
Redditors began making cruel jibes about Christopher, with comments like "He's clearly punching above his weight (and he's not a tiny looking fella). He should be putting a ring on her ASAP." and "She's dating a guy with downs?"
But Ashley, from Georgia, USA, shut down the haters with the perfect response.
"Well let me just tell you, I won the jackpot with Christopher," she wrote on Facebook.
"He may not have rock hard abs like the world tells girls to want in a guy, but really, why does that even matter when you are trying to really find someone to spend the rest of your life with?
"He is so thoughtful and patient, he always shows me how he loves me in little ways, he is my best friend. I love him for who he is and he loves me for who I am. Understanding, loving, and hilarious, which is so rare to find these days!!"
And Christopher added: "When we looked at what people were saying, we laughed."
"We both have the mind-set that that we understand who we are as individuals and what we have for each other."
What an amazing couple!

I absolutely love this story. I'm guilty of stereotyping like all of us probably are. It's great to see something like this to break stereotyping and shows that looks aren't always the top of the list nor has real importance. :)
