I was wondering how fast facial hair grows because I have noticed I have needed to shave a bit more often then I used to. Also it's a lot darker and thicker on my top lip and my chin and that's the bits I need to shave the most. I'm 16 but I'd like a beard so how long will I need to wait for the cheeks to fill out and grower thicker ? Any tips to grow it faster or should I just keep shaving over it to make it grow faster ?

I found the more I shaved my face the quicker it comes back. I'm 18 next week and I could shave at night and you could see hair again in the morning

It's kind of hard to say because everything depends on how much hair you have right now. Assuming you have to shave at least once every three weeks, then my guess is that the frequency will happen more often, and you should be able to get an actual beard within a year. Your beard might be kind of spotty until you're 18 especially if you just started getting hair, but at very least you should be able to have a goatee until your cheeks fill out.

Its really different for anyone. Someone that is 13 may grow facial hair faster than someone who is 17. Personally I'm 14 and I have quite a bit of facial hair if I don't shave for a week or so.

i've been shaving for a while now, my sideburns and neck hair grows twice as fast than my upper lip. It takes a while to get upper lip hair for me but as i shave it normally grows back and you can see that the next day. It varies from everyone few friends upper lip hair grows fast but there sideburns dont grow as fast. I have heard that you can get some shaving oil which increaase the rate, but i wouldnt bother investing in any of it thought as the rate which my hair grows dosent bother me much.

It's different for everyone, I'm practically 17 but my hair doesn't grow fast.
