Well first of anything like always,hi!

Okay so this one thread is about the main reason behind Governmental Corruptions. Why there is any Governmental Corruption? Why when people get to hold a governmental high position, they most of the times revealed to be Corrupted to To the Root?

Is it because of just some individuals or the problem is more basic? The Society breeds Corruption?Isn't it because the fact that society itself is the source of 99 percents of all corruptions in the world?Maybe it is because of the lessons that society teaches to its members since their childhood that "Bribers and Bribeds" begin to show up.

What is your opinion about this?

What's your point

My point is that the societies have gone into a fading. Why should a person in a society always try to live with so-called best conditions that a person can live with, doesn't care what it costs the others?

There are so many responses to this that seem to make sense.

1. We assume that people are greedy bastards and that amplifies when they take power.
2. Being greedy bastards, they only do what is in their best self-interest(their view on which can sometimes be corrupt and misguided, like saying money is the reason we live).
3. Doing what is only in their best self-interest, society suffers and many are effected and influenced.
4. Thus, corruption spreads throughout the government and even the people of such a society.

Seems to be a sort of domino effect.

Also,

1. Power gives influence.
2. Influence allows one person to mass control a population.
3. The population is led to believe whatever their corrupt leader wants them to believe(by whatever means the leader chooses, propaganda, etc.)
4. The government/population obtains a corrupt mindset.

I think these two sort of go together. The second one may be worded a bit differently.

Greed knows no limits...and considering many are tempted, perhaps enjoyed their time with greed, why not climb up to a position where greed can be exercised on such a huge scale?

Took the words right out of my mouth.
Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
People cannot be trusted, nor accounted for, no matter how holy their intentions.
Corruption is simply the sum of humanity and its unshakeable feral instincts.

Greed is human nature. I agree with what liptonlee said

No it is not ultimately of human nature itself, people are taught to be greedy by the society since their early childhood.

Agreeeddd... The belief that all people have equal opportunity drives people to get to these high levels of power and then they forget about who they used to be.

And what they have to be.
