I've been wondering lately if the amount I have is normal or due to an imbalance of testosterone in my body or something. Right now, I have full hair growth from the waist down. Literally from the waist down to my ankles is hair. My chest hair is still growing in. It somewhat full on my belly and its starting to grow up my lower back. I just turned 18 a few weeks ago. I now know that I have Croatian and Serbian heritage which could explain where it comes from. But I am the only one in my family. A few months back hair started growing on the top of my shoulders and my neck hair is growing down. My facial hair is almost full around my front of my neck and the only real place its not growing is around the mouth and all the way up to the cheek bones. Also, I have a unibrow growing. I can see where the hair will grow in which would be a half inch line from one side to the other. I cant understand how I could have genes from my great grandfather and be the only one. Is it possibly I have an imbalance or is it just genetics?

you sound normal to me. body hair can grow as early as 11 or 12 and go onto your early 20's. i think the amount of hair you do grow is somewhat genetic though, so if you have quite hairy people in your extended family then you could be the same to, and the same if they aren't that hairy. basically you sound normal to me and you really don't have anything to worry about that i can see.

Genetics are tricky things, sometimes generations can pass without a specific trait showing up, and then all of a sudden, BAM! there it is. So it is possible to have traits from people very far in the past,so you can most likely attribute this to your ancestors. Just remember, if for any reason anything is bothering you or harmful to you in any way, see a doctor as they know best. You probably won't need to in this case, in fact,it's highly unlikely, but just remember that.

Yeah that sounds about right, i guess you mean you have a monobrow growing, you might want to shave that before it starts to grow. Don't worry perfectly normal.

Ya I wouldn't worry to much it's just genetics, heritage, and puberty. In short, some people are harrier than others. If you really don't like it you could shave or wax.
