Wassup ladies and gents its the big guy and I'm looking for a bit of tech savvy guidance. Alright, I'm the leader of my schools Broadcast Team and I'm pretty much rebuilding my team from the ground up and one of the main areas I'm focusing on is the technology that will be used. I want my productions to be as legit as possible and while I've been searching online looking at different cameras and IPads and things of the nature I have no clue what I'm doing so I was hoping that you guys would know a bit more than I do on the matter so can you guys help me

What equipment are you looking for exactly?
Camcorders for the telecast itself and usage for other school events
Microphones
Tablets for offsite reports
Stands
Editing Software
Pretty much what one needs to produce a telecast. A nice professional looking one at that.

Can't help you with recording equipment but I highly recommend Sony Vegas for editing. It's very hard to learn but it pays off, and you'll be able to produce some awesome movies.

Get a dslr with 1080p recording. Put it on a tripod. The quality should be sufficient for you. If not, then look into professional grade television cameras.
