Coming out to one of my closest friends?

So I'm 14 yr guy and im and gay. I've been thinking about coming out for a while now and honestly I really want to. I want to tell one of my closest friends (girl) who I actually dated a year ago. I honestly don't think she would care or make a big deal about it and I think she would support me but I'm just so nervous I feel like if I tell her it will like change my life forever and all of that. I trust her 100% and I've even written the message on whatsapp but I'm just way too scared to actually send it. What should I do? I just want to tell her and get everything off my chest but im so nervous.

Jesus... I DID IT. and holy crap it feels weird. After I sent it I was doubting myself like crap what if I'm just over reacting and I'm not gay and I'm straight and its just a phase and I was freaking out but she was very supportive so yes I'm very happy!
