I got cut I think when I was 10 or 11, somewhere there. the shot didn't hurt a lot but you could still feel as it was being done for the first time. what hurt most for me was the pain I felt after my penis lost the numbness, but that only lasted for a short while so.

I'm glad I'm cut personally. But if I wasn't and my dad told me to at 14 I would personally think a few dozen times about it. Just bc of the potential pain factor mostly! I've never gotten a shot that didn't hurt a bit so I bet a short on the dick would hurt like a muther! I bet they have to use some sort of rubbing liquid to numb it and not a shot! Thanks, But how bad does the shot feel? I watched a video and doc put needle in penis 8 times, I counted.
I am really worried that I will be cut tight, I do not want that, how will I be sure it's cut loose?

If ur parents waited til u was 14 then I can't see why they want it done now. Worst possible age you can be done..

You may be talking about a plastibell (which they only use on infants), or a gomeco clamp. those are the two most common, but the gomeco may still need stitches, and the scar will be super pronounced

I looked at a video called alisklamp training video on YouTube and it shows them using it but the doctor still uses a knife to cut off the foreskin. I would think you would still have to get numbing shots and still have some pain after.

I heard getting circ'd later in life hurts a lot more. I think that you should make the decision yourself on whether or not to keep it, because it is your penis not your dads. Having a foreskin is natural, think about the decision

circumcision basically means cutting away more than 50% of the nerves in ur penis. it is NOT more hygienic and u can take care of ur own foreskin.
if you want to continue and enjoy sex/masturbation, you mustnt get circumcised.
after getting circed, ur body will start stacking loads of skin on top of ur glans/other sensitives nerve endings in a process called keratization.

please appreciate the gift nature gave you and seek other solution to ur problems. anything is better than circumcision. which only gives you pain, scar and infections.

Anesthetic is required for al types. The anesthetic is injected like a shot. It lasts for a few hours.
